Attaches to the chest ring of a breastplate to provide additional control by placing downward pressure on reins when the horse's head is raised. 

Ideal for use when greater turning control is needed as it limits the lateral movement of the reins. This helps with tight turns. Also helpful with young horses as it provides additional guidance and support.
